Introductory Wine Education Course
by Sommelier Sarah Hutnick
In conjunction with the International
Bacchus Society

Starting January 12, 2009
Every other week for 6 classes.
$300 for Bacchus Members - join for free
($350 for non-members)
- Do you enjoy wine and want to know more about it?
- Would
you like to increase your confidence when ordering wine in restaurants
or choosing from the large variety available at your local wine store?
- Are you interested in learning more about the
techniques surrounding wine making?
This
introductory course has been designed to give students the basics to
further their wine appreciation, and will introduce students to
viticulture and enology and the essential varietals.
No preparation required.
Every class we will be tasting 6 wines. Bread provided. Please
do not wear strong perfume or cologne to classes. It makes it difficult
for you and others to assess the aroma and taste of the wines.
Each
student completing the course will receive a certificate of Completion
from the International Bacchus Society and will be eligible to attend
the Intermediate classes.
