This Thursday @ Wine Lab Newport: Battle of the Cabs - Charity Event

Please join us Thursday evening when we host the premier "Battle of the Cabs" event. Created by the Bacchus Society to benefit charities, we have created a fun event with friendly competition for a good cause. Taste 5, under $30, Cabernet Sauvignons blind and submit your score for each. Results will be tabulated and posted on the "Battle of the Cabs" web site.
$5 of the $20 tasting fee will go to a rebuilding Greensburg, Kansas which was destroyed by a tornado in May 2007.

Saturday October 18: Newport to Sunset Beach bus tour tasting of 12 Cabs

Enjoy a great Saturday afternoon ride up and down the beautiful Bolsa Chica beach with great food, wine, and people. A Double Decker Bus will take you from Wine Lab Newport up PCH to Luggattis in Huntington and Brix in Sunset Beach.

Taste 4 different Cabernets at each stop plus food. The cabs will be tasted blind and you will vote on your favorite - results will be posted on the Battle of the Cabs website.
Special prices on wine at each stop. You are welcome to open bottles on the bus and water will be provided.
Ticket fee includes donation to rebuild Greensburg, Kansas which was destroyed last year by a tornado.

Event is limited to one bus so buy your tickets in advance.

Free Parking Validation For Customers

There are two dedicated spots outside of the entry gate - no need for validation. If those spots are filled, enter the garage and park in any visitor spot and we will validate your ticket. If someone is collecting a parking fee - tell them you are going to the Wine Lab and take a ticket.
