![]() Full Moon Wine Sale & Wine Knowledge OpportunitiesDear Customer,We approach the first anniversary of the Lab grateful to all of you who have supported us by reading this newsletter and visiting our little shop. 2009 brings a new start for all of us. We will continue to serve you because we enjoy wine and want you to as well. Always the geek, I added a blog to our web site over the holiday. This is a journal of more frequent news. I will post wine flight details, interesting tidbits about wine, and other stuff that may be worth a read. If you have a feed reader, please subscribe. If you don't, I recommend Google Reader. If you don't care about RSS news and feed readers, just go to the web page the old fashioned way. Commenting is open so adding your thoughts to our posts is encouraged. Full Moon Wine Sale this Sunday![]() We have some fantastic customers. One of them has been a big supporter of the Lab and is helping us launch the Full Moon Wine Sale this Sunday. Five great QPR wines at deep discounts! I've selected these wines (and carried two of them already). Each has great value at their regular retail price. The sale is a result of cooperation between the winemakers, their broker and the Lab. Everyone is taking less to bring you more. We guarantee you will not find a lower price. Taste all five wines for $10. Bring home the ones you like at a price that will make you howl. One day only and only on the Full Moon. Introductory Wine Course starts and Essential Italian continues next weekDo you enjoy wine and want to know more about it? Would you like to increase your confidence when ordering wine in restaurants or choosing at your local wine store? Would you like to expand your palate and understand why wine are made like they are?The International Bacchus Society has teamed up with the Lab and Sommelier Sarah Hutnick to bring you an introductory wine course. ChrisAnn and I took a 6 class introduction to wine course 20 years ago in Indianapolis. When we moved to CA we took another 6 class course taught by Peter Neptune at a Health Club! Each time we invest in a little deeper knowledge, it increases our enjoyment and interest in wine. Yes, at $300 it is not cheap, but we are bringing you a quality class that will enrich your life. If you think that is hyperbole, read no further. More details by clicking here. Essential Italian Class continues Next Wednesday This is a one evening opportunity to taste and learn about a specific region of Italy and it's wine. Next Wednesday we will tour southern Italy. Sommelier Justin Wilson will provide need to know Italian wine info and we will pair the 5 wines with cheeses. Both previous classes have been a sellout. Reserve your spot ASAP - all previous classes have been fully booked! RSVP - reply to this email, info@winelabnewport.com Upcoming Events
