Wine Lab Newport

Tomorrow: Essential South of France Class & Tasting
In Two Weeks: L'Aventure and Cass Barrel Tastings

Join us as we start our tour of France - first stop is the south - an area with fruit forward wines bursting with flavor. Sommelier Justin Wilson will provide need to know French wine info and we will pair the following wines with cheeses:

If you missed the Essential Italy classes, we will revisit them next month with new wines and continue the France tour as well. Each class is independent, so no worries if you've not attended before or skip a class. Limited to 18 reservations.
$25. Starts at 7 PM.  RSVP - reply to this email, info@winelabnewport.com

L'Aventure Barrel Tasting - Feb. 10

This was one of the best events from last year, and it's back. For those of you who cannot make the members release event in Paso on Feb. 21 & 22, this is your chance to taste the new estate releases of 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cote-a-Cote, and Estate Cuvee.  These wine are perennial top scoring wines and represent the best of Paso Robles.
In addition to the three barrel samples we'll taste the Cuvée Des Potes Rosé 2007, Optimus 2005 and Optimus 2006.
$25. Reservations recommended - seatings at 5, 6 & 7 PM - reply to this email, info@winelabnewport.com

Cass Barrel Tasting - Feb. 12

What a week!  Next up is a chance to taste barrel samples of new Cass wines: 2008 Viognier and Roussanne!  Add to this the following lineup of wines:  Grenache 2006, Syrah 2006, Rockin' One 2006, Flying Nymph 2007, and even the very hard to get Petite Sirah!  Wow!
Meet Bryan Cass from the winery and our own Lindsay Dodson-Brown (on sabbatical from Cass and currently helping at Wine Lab) will host!
$20. Reservations recommended - seatings at 5, 6 & 7 PM - reply to this email, info@winelabnewport.com

Dragonette Cellars Winery Tasting Event
At a recent wine show "The Stars of Santa Barbara" Dragonette Cellars stood out to us as offering some of the best wines from the area. They are young and new and making wine in their own way, organically and using a more natural approach. Winery partner Brandon Sparks-Gillis joins us as we taste their current releases of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Syrah, MJM and Rose. Tasting wine like this makes us excited. Come and experience some exceptional wine.
