Red Wine Basics. Party @ the Lab this Friday
I like to break complex things into simpler ones. When you enter the Lab, all the wine stored on the wall is red. On the left is our Rhone varietals section (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, etc.) and on the right is the Bordeaux varietals section (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, etc.) I love both of these groups of wines. Each group is often blended to create unique flavor experiences.

ChrisAnn and I just returned from the 17th annual Hospice du Rhone in Paso Robles. It was started when few had interest in Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre & Viognier (VEE-yown-Yeah!) - there are 22 Rhone grape varietals. There is a whole wine world to explore and we love Rhone's at the Lab. Please join us as we continue to allow you to taste wines from across the wine spectrum.

There are two dedicated spots outside of the entry gate - no need for validation. If those spots are filled, enter the garage and park in any visitor spot and we will validate your ticket. If someone is collecting a parking fee - tell them you are going to the Wine Lab and take a ticket.
