Tonight: Escape to Wine Country - Tablas Creek

Tablas Creek makes elegant wines on the central coast. Founded by the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel, they painstakingly followed the USDA process for importing many of the Rhone varietals we love. I think their wines have hit a new peak in quality. If you like wine, there is no better way to spend $15 and a little bit of your time. Meet owner Jason Haas and learn about their wine. We'll be offering special prices on the wine tonight only. Drop by anytime between 5 and 8 PM - we are bringing wine country to you tonight.

This Saturday & Sunday - Full Moon Sale

On most full moons we make deals with winery and broker to bring you the lowest price possible for good small producer wines.
This month we are featuring wines from Christopher Cameron, a tiny family winery. We'll have Cabs and meritage from Sonoma, a Petite Sirah and a Grenache from Baja (I kid you not!) Saturday & Sunday you can taste and, if you like, bring home wines at one time only prices.

Next Thursday - Kenneth Crawford winemakers event

Wine country comes to the Lab again next Thursday to these great Santa Barbara winemakers. Both winemakers will be at the Lab and the wines are some of the best I tasted at this springs vintners festival. We will be pouring Larner vineyard Pinot Noir, Grenache, Syrah, and more. We'll be offering special prices that night only.

We're getting a little bit more of the LA Times wine of the week 2004 White Rock Vineyards Napa Valley Claret $33.99 (32.29 club. drinks $40+) - in stock Friday.

A few bottles of 2007 Castalia Rochioli Vineyard Russian River Pinot Noir are left.
The Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine gave just gave it the highest score of any Pinot in the issue: 96 Points
