![]() Thursday taste the stunning wine from Dragonette![]() ![]() We are fortunate to have Brandon Sparks-Gillis from Dragonette Cellars. They are a new winery making stunning wine. It is a partnership of family and friends who decided to pursue the dream of creating fine wines in Santa Ynez. We will taste their current releases of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Rose. The Sauvignon Blanc is the best I have tasted in a very long time. Their Pinot is like candy with structure and their Syrah is amazing. Tasting wine like this makes us excited. Come and experience some exceptional wine. $15. ($10 for Insider Club Members) Bring in your Corks!![]() Natural Cork is a perfect choice for recycling. It’s 100% natural, biodegradable and renewable. There is no reason natural wine corks should end up as landfill when recycled cork can become flooring tiles, building insulation, automotive gaskets, craft materials, soil conditioner and sports equipment. ReCORK America has instituted a pilot program in California and the Pacific North West to recycle natural cork wine closures. It should be emphasized that only natural cork is being accepted. No plastic or metal closures please. Bring them to the Lab and we will get them recycled! The Phantom is Back
Bogle Phantom 2006 will be in Friday and for those of you who like smooth but bold wines (think Orin Swift The Prisoner), you must taste this. Bogle releases this old vine blend of petite sirah, zinfandel and mourvèdre at the beginning of each fall and it usually sells out in a few months. Why they price it so low $15.99 (half the cost of The Prisoner) is a mystery. Many of you fell in love with this wine last year and were disappointed when it sold out. Let joy replace your tears - come in and taste it starting this Friday. (There are some amazing wine deals popping up. If you want an occasional separate email with these deals, click Upcoming Events
